Update from 2/18...
Today's report from the lake shows 12" of ice in test holes. With the mix of snow, it may be messy in spots. As always, proceed with caution out there - you are on the ice at your own risk. Here are a few policy updates...
ATVs - NOT RECOMMENDED (they'll get stuck - snowmobiles should be ok)
BAIT - YES (we are planning to have it on site for sale)
MASKS - YES (to be worn any time you can't remain socially distanced - regardless of your personal feelings, we need to do this to hold the event, thank you please for understanding)
FOOD - YES (White Lake Fire Company will have food and drink available for sale)
The registration window opens at 5am. If pre-registered, pick up your event buttons before hitting the ice. The weighmaster reminds everyone that fishing before 6am will disqualify you for the day (he'll be watching!). Also, fish must be brought to the weigh station live to qualify to ensure a fresh catch. Let's keep things fair for everyone. Complete rules in the link below. Thank you, see you on the ice!
There are several ways to sponsor, and different sponsorship levels - something to appeal to everyone. As a club, we've accomplished so much over the past year (scholarships for college and summer camps, youth programs in shooting and archery, high school shooting sports affiliation, Hunter Ed courses and NRA courses - just to name a few). We count on the support of the community thru event attendance, raffle sales, donations and sponsorships to help make this happen. Please consider being a sponsor or helping to promote this - it certainly goes to a good cause!
